Josh Marshall has been on a roll the past few days railing against the Democrats. First he comes up with this pithy one-liner about the state of the Democrats in 2003: "At a certain point you wonder whether the GOP will have to start executing family pets before the Dems find something they can mobilize on.". And now, he sends along this nugget about the Democrats for National Security. This is quite a find. On the one hand, I think that it's about time that there are finally Democrats who are willing to challenge Republicans on security issues. On the other hand, I wonder if this is a cruel joke on somebody's part. Is it wishful thinking to think that there are honest-to-goodness liberals out there with a coherent vision for international security?
